For dancers in Grades 5 and above who want to expand their training and performance opportunities this is a programme of weekly unset classes, with optional additional coaching, holiday classes and one-to-one mentoring. The classes focus on developing technical skills and confidence in all areas of classical ballet technique for performance and external programmes.
Welcoming committed ballet dance students who are already enrolled in at least one class at the school, senior level students learn how to pick up new choreography in classical and neo-classical ballet styles such as Russian, Balanchine, Danish and French as well as learning classical repertoire solos and rehearsing them for performances including at HBS’ annual Nutcracker and other Suite Things in December and the summer term recitals.
