Next Rehearsal Dates: TO BE CONFIRMED

For dancers who love to perform, create and rehearse in an inspiring environment, the Highgate Ballet School Youth Dance Company is for you!

The HBS YDC was formed in 2009 by senior staff teacher Magdalene Woolf as a special programme offering enhanced performance opportunities for enthusiastic dancers ages 8-16, which rehearses on selected days in half terms and on days leading up to performances.

Welcoming committed ballet and contemporary dance students who are already enrolled at the school, the Youth Dance Company performs original choreography in classical ballet, neo-classical ballet and contemporary styles with chances to perform throughout the year locally in Highgate and in performance spaces in London. This year Highgate Ballet School celebrates our 25 year anniversary and performances including the YDC will take place at Channing School’s Arundel Centre, in Highgate on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2020.

We do expect dancers who would like to take part in the 25th anniversary performances on 11th and 12th July this year to commit to attending at least 80% of the rehearsals scheduled.
